Ben Witherington on "What Have They Done With Jesus"

Check out Ben Witherington's talks about his latest book, What Have They Done With Jesus: Beyond Strange Theories and Bad History--Why We Can Trust the Bible. This presentation of his responses to the various theories and conjecture about Jesus, "lost" Christianities, and gnosticism. He made this presentation at City Church of San Francisco on April 15, 2007:

I have the book, and have completed about 80% of it, before putting it down.

It's agood book, but not a great read. It reads like a text book, i.e. a little "dry".

I enjoy BW3's blogs, articles, and speeches, but this book is not for the lay reader. Sure I will keep it as a reference source, but I would recommend Darrell Bock's "The Missing Gospels" instead for those of us who are non-academic types.
