Sorry, this post just triggered a thought.

I'm pleased that the British Methodist Church is doing podcasts, along with other Christian groups.

But what does the following say about consumerism and technology? I have a 3-year-old iPod and I can't get podcasts on it because the software has changed. I don't really want to throw away my iPod and buy a new one, which is what we are all "supposed" to do in our consumer culture!
