Number of Families Without Health Insurance Continues to Rise

Beside the war in Iraq, the most important issue facing the US that few politicians are talking about is the coming crisis in health care. This issue has the greatest impact on families and children is access to health care. The nation must begin the debate about how we are going to implement a system of Universal Health Insurance. The US is the only western industrialized nation that does not provide health care for all of its citizens.

The Number of People Without Health Insurance Rises Once Again
More people in the United States are without health insurance, according to a new Census Bureau Report, and many of the newly uninsured are children. 46.6 million people in the United States now have no health insurance coverage, 8.3 million of this figure are children.

The US is the only western industrialized nation that does not provide health care for all of its citizens.

And yet, somehow, people flock to American hospitals from across the world to take advantage of our horrible, horrible health care system....
